A role model that produces potential high-growth start-ups inside the university in Cambodia.

Mission

Support start-ups through incubation programs on both technologies and business for shortening the duration of the venture from lab to market.

Specific Terms


Goal/Target

Produce/increase tech-driven businesses and entrepreneurs,

3 start-ups/year and more than 3 entrepreneurs/year.

Objective 1

Provide additional capacity building to catch up with industrial know-how,  business knowledge, and  market opportunity.

Objective 2

Facilitate  prototyping  activities and  business venture.

Activities to Accomplish Objective 1

  • Exposure to Industry through traineeship, and internship

  • Training program taught by entrepreneurs or expertise from industry

  • Ideation and idea cultivation (e.g. Techno innovation challenge) 

  • Business coaching and mentoring

  • Consultation on market opportunity, business strategy (sale, marketing, finance, legal, production costing, etc.)

Activities to Accomplish Objective 2

  • Access to LBE laboratory  

  • Access to library and co-working space  

  • Prototyping mentoring 

  • Technology show at university mart or other relevant program 

  •  Co-innovation / development project 

  • Support market validation, go-to-market, business plan 

  •  Fundraising assistance
